By paying your Zenith Moving LLC services deposit, you agree to be bound by Zenith Moving LLC’s Product and Services Terms & Conditions. It is your responsibility to check and be aware of all Terms and Conditions. You can review the most current version of our Product and Service Terms & Conditions at any time on this page. Your paid deposit date adheres to the terms and conditions on said date of your paid deposit. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service.

1. Cost of service & payment terms

Deposit payment

To secure your move date, a binding flat price quote, and your requested moving services, a $50 deposit is required at booking.

You have 24 hours to pay your deposit to secure your move date and binding flat price quote, from the date and time it is sent in your confirmation. Zenith Moving LLC reserves the right to change the original quoted flat price on the customer’s requested services if the customer does not pay their deposit within 24 hours. The company cannot guarantee availability if the deposit is not paid within 24 hours.

The quoted flat price is subject to change due to peak moving days, customer time window requests, and availability if the quote is not paid within 24 hours. Availability is not guaranteed, as we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

If your quoted move is greater than $2,000, a 10% deposit of your total quoted moving fee is required at booking to secure your move date and requested moving services.

All deposit payments are to be paid electronically via the secure payment link shared with you, or over the phone. We accept all major credit/debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover.

Your deposit is fully refundable up to 1 business day before your move day if you request in writing via email that you wish to cancel your services with the company. Allow up to 5 business days for Zenith Moving LLC to process and refund your deposit.

For example:

  • If your move day is on a Wednesday and you would like to cancel your move, you must cancel on Monday afternoon to have your deposit fully refunded.
  • If you cancel on Tuesday (the business day before your move), your deposit will not be refunded.
  • For Saturday and Sunday moving dates, Thursday close of business is the cutoff to cancel and be fully refunded the deposit amount.

If you request a refund either the day of your move or within 1 business day before your move date, you will not be refunded your deposit.

If the customer postpones their moving date, the company will refund the customer’s deposit 30 days from the postponed move date if the customer does not move with Zenith Moving LLC. This refund will be processed directly to the card used for the original deposit.

If the customer wishes to move with Zenith Moving LLC after the 30 days from the postponed move date, they must rebook and pay a new deposit.


Outstanding balance payment

The remaining balance of your invoice is due 1 business day before your move date (except for Long Distance Inbound moves). Zenith Moving LLC cannot move you unless the remaining balance of your invoice has been received.

For Long Distance Inbound moves, the remaining balance of your invoice is due 1 business day before the start of your pickup window. Zenith Moving LLC cannot move you unless the remaining balance of your invoice has been received.

We accept cash, bank checks, and all major credit/debit cards for the remaining balance of your invoice.

If you have opted to pay cash or check on the day of your move, you must notify Zenith Moving LLC in writing when you receive your invoice and/or during the booking process.

You must provide the total outstanding balance in cash or check to the Zenith Moving LLC foreman on arrival. Zenith Moving LLC will not begin moving and loading the truck with your belongings unless cash or check payment has been made first.

If any outstanding payment is not made, a third-party debt collector may be engaged and this may impact your credit score.


Cancellations and moving date changes

To cancel your move and request Zenith Moving LLC services, a minimum notice period of no less than 1 business day (24 hours) before your move date is required in order for you to obtain a full refund of your deposit and avoid additional penalties.

To reschedule your move date or requested services, we require a minimum notice period of 1 business day before your booked move date. Penalties will apply if we are not informed within these rescheduling guidelines.

Peak periods require additional notice for rescheduling. All moving and storage services booked between the 25th to the 31st of any month, and the 1st to the 2nd of any month are subject to a penalty of 100% of the total price if the rescheduling and cancellation notice is not provided within 3 business days of the original move date.


Additional charges

If on the day of your move, you have more items than what is reflected on your quoted and original inventory list, you will be provided with an updated quote for moving the additional items. For Zenith Moving LLC to move your additional items, you will be required to review your updated quote and will be charged an additional moving fee for those items.

Payment for the additional items can be made over the phone; we accept all major credit/debit cards.

If payment for the additional items will be made using cash or a bank check, payment must be made prior to the move beginning.

We cannot move your additional items unless the additional item fee is paid at that time.

If there is no parking within 150 feet of the entrance of the pickup and drop-off locations, an excessive carrying and pushing fee is applicable depending on volume and distance. The moving crew will advise the customer of this and inform the moving consultant who booked this service for the customer to charge the additional fee. This depends on the volume of your move, with a maximum fee of $300.

In jurisdictions where a customer can obtain a parking permit prior to the move, Zenith Moving LLC will inform the customer how they can do so, for a small fee paid to their local government. The customer will be responsible for fulfilling this requirement and completing the process with the appropriate local authorities.

If the drop-off destination is correctly provided at the time of booking, your guaranteed flat price quote includes fuel and mileage. For any additional 10 miles Zenith Moving LLC has to travel to complete services that were not originally accounted for, an additional fuel and mileage fee will be applied.


Storage services billing

Zenith Moving LLC only accepts valid credit and debit cards to process storage move-in, partial move-out and full move-out services, and monthly storage billing. Cash and certified bank checks are not accepted payment methods for storage services.

The card details provided by the customer for Zenith Moving LLC Storage Services via Zenith Moving LLC’s payment portal or over the phone will be securely saved via encrypted token and used to charge, possibly in advance (24–72 hours) of the customer’s indicated move date, any fee associated with services related thereto, the guaranteed price, or recurring fees, as established within any prior or subsequent Storage Agreement or other document regarding the storage of the shipment, or portion thereof, including, if necessary, adjustments for any changes to the inventory or any other charges or fees referenced within the relevant Binding Estimate, Order for Service, Bill of Lading and/or Contract for Residential, Commercial Shipments, or Storage Contract.

All storage services (move-in, move-out, partial move-out and monthly storage fees) are subject to New York State Sales Tax. Sales tax will be shown at the bottom of each invoice and payment of sales tax must be made in full along with the total cost of service.

All monthly storage fees include New York State Sales Tax and will be automatically processed every month on the customer’s original storage move-in date, using the customer’s card on file.

If the customer’s card is declined due to insufficient funds, a canceled card, or other issues, the customer will be sent a reminder email with payment portal details to process the outstanding balance and update their card details. If payment is not received or a valid card is not updated, late fees and penalties will apply, as detailed in Section 9. Storage Services.

If Monthly Storage Services are no longer needed by the customer (partial or complete storage move-out), you must first notify Zenith Moving LLC to schedule a storage move-out.

Storage move-out service will not be automatically billed to the customer’s card used for monthly billing. Storage move-out services must be paid via credit/debit card via the payment portal or over the phone.

Storage monthly rates are not prorated. For example:

  • If a customer moves into a Zenith Moving LLC storage facility on the 25th of the month, that will be their ongoing monthly billing date.
  • If the customer decides to move out on the 10th of a month, Zenith Moving LLC will not refund or credit the fee already paid for that month’s storage.
  • If the customer moves out on the day of their original move-in date and all outstanding payments have been received, Zenith Moving LLC will not bill the customer for the upcoming month’s storage fee.
  • If the customer books their storage move-out 1 day after their original storage move-in date, they will be charged for the full monthly storage fee.

If there are any monthly storage balances due, they must be paid prior to scheduling any storage move-out service. Zenith Moving LLC will not book and confirm any storage move-out services if the customer has any past-due outstanding balances.

If a customer schedules a partial storage move-out where items remain in Zenith Moving LLC’s storage facility, the customer’s monthly automatic payments will not be canceled; however, the monthly storage fee may be adjusted as they have partially moved items out of storage.

If a customer schedules a complete storage move-out where all their items are moved out of Zenith Moving LLC’s storage facility, the customer’s monthly automatic payments will be canceled on their next scheduled billing date.


Hourly labor billing

It is the customer’s responsibility to specify the requested hours of labor they require for hourly moving services when booking. If the hourly moving service exceeds the customer’s requested time frame, Zenith Moving LLC is not liable for incorrect hourly time estimates.

If hourly services are booked, Zenith Moving LLC requires the following minimum hours:

  • Minimum of 2 hours for 2 movers, and
  • Minimum of 4 hours for 3 movers.

Zenith Moving LLC will not book or confirm hourly moving services that are below these required minimums.

Hourly labor moving services commence when Zenith Moving LLC crew arrive at the pickup location and commence work. Commencement begins when they first engage with the customer and start moving services.

If additional time is needed to complete the hourly moving service, the customer will be billed for the additional time, in hourly or 30-minute increments at the agreed hourly rate on their binding quote.

The customer must make payment of additional hourly moving fees and any additional moving fees incurred during the move (that were not originally quoted) on the day of their move via credit card over the phone with a Zenith Moving LLC sales representative. Payment must be made before Zenith Moving LLC completes the hourly moving service and before the Bill of Lading is signed at the drop-off location.

If the moving crew notifies the customer that additional time is needed to complete the moving services beyond the original quoted timeframe, the customer is responsible for payment for those additional hours. The moving crew will, to the best of their ability, aim to complete services in a timely and safe manner and will not be held liable for any additional hours and resulting fees.

If the customer requests additional time beyond the original quoted timeframe, the customer is responsible for payment of those additional hours.

Hourly moving services only apply for local moving services and are subject to Zenith Moving LLC’s discretion. Flat price quote services are the default billing model of Zenith Moving LLC. Hourly moving services do not apply for long distance moves, storage move-in, storage move-out or partial storage services.


Promotional codes and discounts

Promotional codes, discounts and coupons must be redeemed with a Zenith Moving LLC Sales Representative prior to your finalized quote in order to be accepted. Your quote will reflect the applied discount.

Promotional codes, discounts and coupons are not applicable after you have received your finalized quote. You cannot apply them retroactively.

The only exception to a discount on a quote is a comparable competitor quote. The competitor’s quote must be emailed with supporting documentation to Zenith Moving LLC. If the services are like-for-like and the quote is legitimate from an organization of comparable size, Zenith Moving LLC will aim to match or beat the competitor’s quote. There is no guarantee that Zenith Moving LLC will match or provide a discount. Zenith Moving LLC will determine what is a comparable quote and what discount (if any) to provide.

If a customer moving with Zenith Moving LLC has applied an active promo code during the booking process, that same customer cannot be a referral customer. A referee cannot make a claim for a referral commission fee if their referral has applied a promo code and discount to their move; referral commissions are not valid and will not be paid in this scenario.


Cost of service

Costs of our services are subject to change if the date or time of reservation is changed by the customer.

Zenith Moving LLC requires 1 business day notice for the rescheduling and cancellation of moving materials delivery and pickup (boxes, bins, packing materials). Failure to meet these requirements will result in a $50 penalty.

The total quoted cost of services includes:

  • Blankets and tape for furniture protection
  • Dollies for the duration of the move
  • Fuel, mileage & toll charges

Additional waiting time charges may apply if there are delays caused by the customer or building management.

Cost of service is subject to change if the customer adds additional items or services that were not originally quoted in the original quote.

If any flights of stairs are involved in the logistics of a move, a stair fee charge will be applied. If at any destination additional stairs were not originally disclosed by the customer during booking, a stair fee charge will be applied for the additional stairs.

For video estimates, the quote provided by Zenith Moving LLC is based on the items shown in the video quoting process and the inventory list agreed to by the customer when booking. If additional items or services are added that were not included in the original quote, the cost of service is subject to change.

Zenith Moving LLC’s price quote includes the wrapping, packing and protection of basic furniture and large items such as TVs, dressers, sofas etc. It does not include the packing of household goods such as books, kitchen items, items in drawers, clothes, plates and miscellaneous items that can fit into a box and were not listed in the quoted inventory list. The packing of such items is the responsibility of the customer, to ensure items are properly packed before the move date, unless the customer has elected Zenith Moving LLC packing service which is not included in the flat price quote and will be charged as an additional service.

If additional items are to be packed that were not included in the original quoted inventory list, these items will be charged with an additional packing and moving fee.

The minimum size of local moving and local storage services performed by Zenith Moving LLC is 200 cubic feet (CF). If the local moving or local storage service is under 200CF, the customer will be charged for 200CF and no discounts will apply.


2. Customer responsibility and expectations

The customer or his/her legal representative (a power of attorney must be provided prior to the move) MUST BE present at all times of the move. If the client or client’s representative is not present, Zenith Moving LLC will not be responsible for any claims.

All furniture must be emptied by the customer prior to the move, such as dressers, drawers, fridges and freezers. The only exception is if the customer has elected and is paying for Zenith Moving LLC packing services. If a customer has elected packing services, fridge, freezer and perishable goods must still be packed by the customer under food & safety requirements. Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable or responsible for any sickness, damages or death due to food poisoning.

Customers must unplug any electronic components and items; our moving crew will not unplug or install any electronic components.

If the customer decides to pack their own items, they must do so in durable boxes and packing material appropriate for transportation.

Food and perishable items can only be moved locally in a moving box packed by the customer. Zenith Moving LLC is not liable for food safety. If a customer has elected packing services, fridge, freezer and perishable goods must be packed by the customer under food & safety requirements. Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable or responsible for any sickness, damages or death due to food poisoning.

Pets and live animals will not be moved by Zenith Moving LLC.

House small- to medium-sized live plants will be moved by Zenith Moving LLC. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate descriptions of plant size and weight during the booking process.

The maximum height of a plant which Zenith Moving LLC will move is 200cm / 6.5 ft, for local moving services only.

Zenith Moving LLC under no circumstances will load and/or move any of the following items: live pets, firearms, illicit substances, chemicals and hazardous materials.

Zenith Moving LLC will only move live house plants that are of reasonable size for human handling and for local moves less than 250 miles from the pickup to drop-off location. The house plant must be planted in an appropriate pot for handling.

Zenith Moving LLC will under no circumstances move live plants for long distance moves (250+ miles) or store live plants in our storage facilities, except under emergency storage circumstances. If the customer has an emergency storage requirement associated with a long distance move, Zenith Moving LLC will not move any plants placed into emergency storage to the long distance destination.

If you have a waterbed, we will be glad to move it. However, we are not waterbed technicians. We will follow your instructions, but you must make a final inspection before our crew leaves. We will not send crews back for later adjustments. If you prefer to have a waterbed company move your bed, please make those arrangements.

We only move empty aquariums (empty of water and also empty of creatures such as lizards, turtles and snakes).

If you pack your own glass, porcelain, ceramics, etc., we will move them carefully; however, we will not be responsible for breakage and/or resulting damage to packed and unpacked fragile items. If you wish to have fragile items packed so that they will be covered by basic or increased insurance, you will be charged for packing and materials. If you decline additional materials, we will move the items but you will be asked to sign a waiver.

Our moving personnel will move your pianos, appliances and items over 300 lbs, if the work can be done safely. It is the moving foreman’s discretion to make this decision after assessing these items, the space, and location of the move-out and move-in address.

The customer is responsible for signing the Bill of Lading at the time of pickup and at the time of delivery — both stages of the move.

Conditions of all TVs are to be signed for at the pickup and drop-off locations. Zenith Moving LLC movers will test TV function by turning on and switching channels at both addresses; the customer is required to sign that the TV works or does not work at pickup and drop-off.

In situations where Zenith Moving LLC is moving roommates, couples or divorced couples who are separating their items for separate drop-off locations, Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable for any claims or damages related to missing items or items delivered to the wrong location. It is the responsibility of the clients to divide items and inform Zenith Moving LLC via their inventory list which items are theirs for delivery. Zenith Moving LLC will not communicate on behalf of the client with any other individual regarding items in question. Any dispute about ownership or location of items is strictly between those individuals.

Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable for any claims that items were moved without consent if the customer booking the move added those items to their inventory list. The booking client is responsible for any damages or claims of any third parties who claim their items were moved without consent.

Boxable items packed by the client must be packed in boxes durable enough to carry the weight of contents, with each box weighing no more than 35 lbs.

Zenith Moving LLC standard service includes one setup option per item when placing items in the customer’s new location. Services do not include multiple rearrangements of furniture and items at the request of the customer.


3. Insurance and valuation coverage for customer belongings

Your belongings are covered with free BASIC coverage of $0.60 per pound per item, by default, as required by the Department of Transportation, New York.

If you would like to purchase optional Declared Value Protection, you can do so via movinginsurance.com. Any additional coverage with our third-party insurance provider must be purchased at least 48 hours prior to the move and cannot be added on the day of the move or after the move.

It is your responsibility to purchase this additional insurance. If you have a high-value item, we strongly suggest you purchase third-party insurance, as we are only liable to pay $0.60 per pound per item if the item is damaged or lost.

We need a minimum of 3 business days for any wooden crate or bespoke packing containers to be created for your valuables.

Zenith Moving LLC is not liable for any insurance claims or damages filed by the customer for items that were already broken or damaged at pickup. Zenith Moving LLC reserves the right to photograph and document damaged and broken items on the Bill of Lading at both pickup and drop-off locations. The customer must acknowledge and sign next to these items that they were already damaged and broken prior to Zenith Moving LLC moving them. The customer thereby releases Zenith Moving LLC from liability for these specific damaged items. If the customer refuses to sign the Bill of Lading, Zenith Moving LLC cannot perform the moving services and may refund the customer.

If any item of a set of furniture is lost or damaged, payment/refund is only made for the contracted value of the item damaged, calculated per the valuation equation and as defined by the Department of Transportation — not the entire set.

It is a felony punishable by law to double-file a claim for damages for your item(s) through both a moving company and a third-party insurance provider for the same item(s) (known as “double dipping”). A claim can only be filed with one insurance provider — either Zenith Moving LLC’s basic valuation/DOT insurance or a third-party insurance policy that the customer purchased.

If a double claim is filed, the third-party insurance provider may contact Zenith Moving LLC requesting a damages fee for item(s) for which Zenith Moving LLC has already compensated the customer under basic valuation/DOT insurance. In such a case, Zenith Moving LLC will provide evidence of “double dipping.”

To avoid committing a felony, the customer must cancel one of the claims before it is processed and any compensation is provided by either party.


4. Building insurance – COI (Certificate of Liability Insurance)

Zenith Moving LLC will provide customers who have booked their move and paid for their service in full with a Certificate of Insurance (COI) if it is required by their building management, through our third-party insurance provider.

It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain the COI requirements from building management, provide them to us via email prior to their move, and to notify Zenith Moving LLC if any pickup or drop-off address requires a COI.

Zenith Moving LLC has the right to refuse to move the customer or charge an additional fee if we arrive at the pickup or drop-off location and the customer did not provide COI information prior to the move day.

The company does not provide floor and wall masonite protection in our standard flat price quote fee. If a customer or building management requires wall and floor masonite padding/protection, it is the responsibility of the customer to communicate this prior to their move day when booking their move or at least 48 hours before the move day, so that masonite material can be prepared. Additional material and handling fees apply for masonite protection.


5. Claims and refunds

Our aim is to resolve any claim as soon as possible once we receive your Zenith Moving LLC Claim Submission Form, images and relevant documentation.

You have 90 days from the date of move/delivery (or, in the event of loss of the entire shipment, from the date your shipment should have been delivered) to file your claim. If you fail to file a claim within 90 days from your moving date, Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable for any damages or liabilities.

The claimant submitting a claim to Zenith Moving LLC hereby makes a solemn oath to the truth of the statements contained in the claim and any exhibits attached, and that no material fact is withheld. Once this claim/form has been submitted, the claimant has 48 hours to report any additional issues; after this, no additional items or issues can be added to the claim or raised as a new claim.

If a claim is open or requested prior to the completion of delivery or services, the company reserves the right to issue a refund or compensation only after the goods have been delivered and/or the service has been marked completed.

A claim cannot usually be resolved immediately and may take time before items can be inspected and repaired or replaced. You can expect the following process:

  • We take your feedback and claims very seriously. Once we have received all information and supporting evidence, our claims team will begin investigating.
  • Your appointed contact in our claims department will be your key contact, and will email/call you as we make progress toward a fair resolution.
  • We will present you with a fair and considered settlement offer. If you accept the offer, we will compensate you accordingly. If our offer is not accepted, we may work with an independent arbitrator where appropriate.

Zenith Moving LLC Storage will not take responsibility for items reported as damaged if Zenith Moving LLC did not perform transportation and/or final delivery of those items. The customer must seek damages through the third party they hired or arranged.


6. Safety of moving crews and customers

All Zenith Moving LLC moving personnel have undergone training that covers job safety, packing and unpacking, lifting, securing items, safe driving and customer service.

Customers are advised not to participate in the manual carrying of items when they have hired Zenith Moving LLC for moving services. If a customer lifts an item and becomes injured, they do so at their own risk. Zenith Moving LLC is not liable for any claims and damages that a customer causes themselves during their move.


7. Contactless moving services

If a customer or their legal representative cannot be present during the physical process of their move day, they are required, during the booking process, to inform Zenith Moving LLC that they will not be present and require a “contactless moving” service. Contactless moving is where the customer or their legal representative is not physically on site at the pickup or delivery address during the removal and/or delivery of the shipment.

The customer must make themselves available online during their contactless move day to take phone and video calls with Zenith Moving LLC personnel to view their move, answer questions and view completion.

By accepting shipment from a contactless moving service, the customer agrees not to hold Zenith Moving LLC liable for any claims or damages involving building or apartment damage such as dents, scratches, or damage to walls, floors or doors.

Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable for claims or damages for items that are already broken or damaged upon arrival. Zenith Moving LLC may take images of any such items and report them to the claims department before touching or moving them. Zenith Moving LLC will not cover existing damaged and broken items under the basic insurance policy required by the Department of Transportation (0.60 cents per pound per item), nor provide further compensation.

Zenith Moving LLC is not responsible for disposing of any items or rubbish not included in the customer’s moving inventory list as an item to be moved or taken for disposal. We will leave items in the property that are not on the moving inventory list. Zenith Moving LLC will not be liable to pay any disposal fees imposed by building management for items left behind that were not listed as items for disposal or moving.

The customer is responsible for providing Zenith Moving LLC access to their pickup and drop-off locations via a legal representative or building management. Zenith Moving LLC is not responsible for the security of the pickup or drop-off location during a contactless move and will not be held liable for any claims of theft, damage or lost keys. Zenith Moving LLC will, to the best of its ability, close the main door and hand any keys back to a designated representative. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure keys are handed over and doors are locked. Zenith Moving LLC will not drive to drop off keys to the customer’s representative nor guarantee the secure lockup of all access points.

Zenith Moving LLC cannot guarantee that all items will be packed and moved during contactless moving. Zenith Moving LLC can only move items on the inventory list and can only assume which items those are when packing and performing a contactless move without the customer present. If the customer is not available via video call for the entire packing and loading process, they acknowledge they will not hold Zenith Moving LLC liable for any items not packed or forgotten. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate inventory list, item-by-item instructions and be available for calls — especially for full packing contactless services.


8. Long distance moving services

Zenith Moving LLC provides the following long distance moving service options:

  1. Consolidated shipping
  2. Straight (exclusive) delivery

If a third-party long distance carrier is completing the shipment and drop-off of your long distance move, all communication for long distance moves will be handled through Zenith Moving LLC, who will liaise with the carrier on your behalf.

Consolidated Shipping: Zenith Moving LLC cannot guarantee an exact delivery date during the booking process for consolidated shipping. The customer will be provided with a delivery time window, determined by distance, month, date, and other logistical variables. Once the exact delivery date and time are confirmed within this window, the customer will be informed. Delivery windows are provided in business days, but deliveries may occur on weekends as well.

Zenith Moving LLC aims to deliver your shipment within the stated delivery window. Zenith Moving LLC will provide a minimum of three updates on the shipment’s expected delivery date:

  1. One business day after the move to confirm that the shipment has been processed and is ready to be assigned to a vehicle.
  2. When items have been processed out of our facility and are marked as “in transit.”
  3. When the exact date and time of delivery are confirmed.

Updates may overlap depending on distance and dispatch times.

Exclusive Straight Delivery:
Zenith Moving LLC has the right to place your items in storage and re-deliver the items at the first available date if nobody is present at the delivery point within the guaranteed delivery window. Additional re-delivery and storage fees will apply.

At pickup, the customer should inform Zenith Moving LLC of the first available delivery date (FADD) to accept the shipment at the delivery address. If a customer wishes to change the FADD after pickup is done, additional fees may be incurred to cover lost logistics planning or re-delivery and storage.

Insurance coverage for long distance moves is outlined under Valuation Coverage for Your Belongings in these terms.


9. Storage services

Zenith Moving LLC provides warehouse storage. All customer items to be stored in a Zenith Moving LLC warehouse facility will be wrapped at the pickup location and transported to the warehouse, where items will be placed on pallets, additionally wrapped and organized. Zenith Moving LLC storage facilities are private and secure, with 24-hour video surveillance. Customer visits to Zenith Moving LLC secure warehouse facilities are restricted (no general walk-in access).

Storage monthly fees are predetermined by the size of the shipment, calculated per cubic foot plus tax per month. The rate per cubic foot for storage is fixed on the day of booking and when signing the storage agreement and paying the move-in service deposit; the customer is then bound to the terms and conditions of service.

Self move-out must be scheduled at least 3 business days prior. If a customer completes a self move-out from any Zenith Moving LLC warehouse or unit, the customer will incur a self move-out fee equal to one full month of storage prior to pickup.

A customer can nominate a third-party carrier to pick up items from storage for an additional fee equal to one full month of storage prior to pickup.

Perishable goods such as cooking spices, herbs, food, fruit, tea, coffee and dried foods are strictly prohibited from storage in Zenith Moving LLC facilities. Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable for damages that may occur due to rotting and pest infestation. If a customer is found to have perishable goods in storage, they will be held liable to cover any damages and losses incurred — including pest control bills and damage to other customers’ items.

Zenith Moving LLC does not offer individual “self-storage unit” services.

Responsibility for monthly storage payments lies with the signer of the Zenith Moving LLC agreement. If the signer is storing items for other individuals, the signer remains responsible for monthly fees. If monthly payments are missed, any lien or notice of disposal will legally apply to the signer, not to other individuals whose items are in storage under the signer’s name.

Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable for claims or damages regarding disposal lien notices on items belonging to anyone who was not the original signer of the storage contract.

If a customer has moved plants into Zenith Moving LLC storage (for emergency or transit storage due to delay), Zenith Moving LLC will not be liable for keeping the plant alive or caring for it. All live plants placed in storage will be disposed of. Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable for any damages or claims related to disposal or loss of plants.


10. Packing and unpacking

Moving materials used to move your items belong to Zenith Moving LLC and are retrieved at the end of your move. Any moving materials purchased prior to your move from Zenith Moving LLC belong to the customer. Moving materials such as moving blankets, TV boxes, wardrobe boxes, picture boxes and other reusable materials belong to Zenith Moving LLC and will be retrieved at the drop-off location prior to departure.

Transportation of breakables without proper or recommended containers: unpacked items of a fragile or breakable nature include, but are not limited to: waterbed mattresses, glass of any kind, lamps, lampshades, pictures, mirrors, marble, granite, stone, pottery, LCD or plasma TVs, and artwork of any kind. Such items must be packed in a proper box. Damage claims for such items will not be honored unless items are packed or crated in a recommended container by the Carrier. The shipper accepts responsibility for any item placed onto our trucks without proper packaging. Zenith Moving LLC will always recommend proper containers for such items.

Zenith Moving LLC will provide packing paper, boxes and packing supplies if packing service has been requested at the time of booking; packing supplies are included in the packing service fee.

Zenith Moving LLC will not organize items inside boxes while packing unless requested by the customer at booking. We will pack items according to the room and type of item. Zenith Moving LLC will randomly yet safely pack items but will not separate the content of drawers between boxes in a designer or stylistic order. Packing is completed in the most efficient and safe way. It is the customer’s responsibility to organize their items before Zenith Moving LLC commences packing.

Zenith Moving LLC is not responsible for additional packing of boxes if the number of boxes is not enough for the volume of belongings, unless the customer agrees to additional charges for extra packing.

Zenith Moving LLC will unpack items at the designated place upon customer instruction but will not organize the content of boxes “as the customer desires” or in a stylish/designer manner.

Zenith Moving LLC will safely and efficiently unpack china and kitchen boxes, but will not organize china and breakables in a matching or stylistic grouping.


11. Plastic moving totes/bins for hire

Zenith Moving LLC offers plastic moving totes/bins for hire for an additional fee.

The customer has a maximum of 5 days post move-in at the drop-off location to return all hired plastic totes clean and in the same condition as received. Zenith Moving LLC will collect the plastic moving totes from the nominated location after the move.


12. Moving supplies for purchase

Zenith Moving LLC offers moving supplies such as boxes, packing paper and tape for purchase in bundles designed by home size and customer needs.

Zenith Moving LLC does not sell individual moving supplies per unit unless a customer has already purchased a bundle and requires some additional add-ons.

Moving supplies can be purchased during the booking process or prior to the move day. A minimum of 3 business days is required prior to move day to purchase moving supplies for delivery.

Zenith Moving LLC will deliver purchased moving supplies to the nominated location.

Zenith Moving LLC does not offer refunds or returns on sold moving supply goods, whether used or unused.


13. TVs and electronics

Appliances and other electronic devices: Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable for any internal components of an appliance or electronic device. When moving appliances and electronics, it may be necessary to tilt or turn them in positions other than upright. Doing so can cause internal components that are already loose to come apart. Vibrations in the truck can also cause pre-existing loose components to separate. Therefore, Zenith Moving LLC does not warranty internal components of any appliance or electronic device.

The customer is required to turn on their TV prior to Zenith Moving LLC packing the TV into a TV box. Both the Zenith Moving LLC foreman and the customer must acknowledge on the signed Bill of Lading that the TV works or does not work at pickup and drop-off. If the TV does not work at pickup, Zenith Moving LLC is not responsible for any related claims.

If the TV works at pickup and does not work at drop-off and no external damage is visible, Zenith Moving LLC is not responsible for damages or claims.

If the TV works at pickup and does not work at drop-off and external damage is visible, Zenith Moving LLC will process the damage and claim for the customer.

Zenith Moving LLC will not be responsible for damages to the TV if it was packed by the customer in their own box prior to crew arrival.

Zenith Moving LLC will dismount a wall-mounted TV if agreed at booking, free of charge for one TV. Every additional TV wall dismount is $50 per TV. If the crew is required to dismount a TV not outlined in the inventory list at booking, a $50 dismount fee per TV applies.

Zenith Moving LLC does not offer TV wall mounting services or any other wall mounting services.

When moving any appliances, Zenith Moving LLC is not responsible for disconnecting electricity and will not be responsible for disassembly/assembly of any appliances that cannot fit through a door unless previously agreed at the time of booking.


14. Special handling

Special handling services defined by Zenith Moving LLC include packing, handling and assembly/disassembly of heavy, valuable, fragile and unique items, and specialized moving requests. These services require additional labor, skills, equipment, planning and materials, and subsequently require a special handling fee.

When booking your move, the customer is responsible for clearly defining all of their items and required moving services. Zenith Moving LLC will inform the customer which items or services require special handling fees or service charges.

Additional padding/protection handling applies to furniture that includes (but is not limited to) marble, stone, glass, crystal, mirrors, screens (e.g. Pelotons), or picture frames larger than 4ft x 4ft. These items may require extra protection with blankets, cardboard, or wooden crating, resulting in additional fees.

Additional disassembly/reassembly handling applies to furniture that requires movers to remove 8 or more screws or spend 20+ minutes disassembling/reassembling. This may include armoires, bookcases, shelves, cabinets, entertainment centers, various types of beds (storage, captain’s, canopy, electric, loft, trundle, bunk, adjustable), sofas, and wall units.

Additional heavy-item handling applies to any single item that weighs more than 200 lbs. Examples include pianos, large tables, gym equipment, large dressers, recliners, major appliances (fridges, washers, dryers), sculptures, art installations, or items made of heavy stone, metal or solid wood.

Zenith Moving LLC strictly does not assemble “out-of-the-box” furniture of any kind. We will move boxed items but do not provide assembly for new boxed furniture.

Zenith Moving LLC reserves the right to refuse to disassemble or move pieces that require specific instructions or specialized training (e.g. certain gym equipment, built-in installations, pool tables, refrigerators, commercial equipment).

Zenith Moving LLC reserves the right to refuse to move or leave behind an item if, in the foreman’s assessment, moving it would be dangerous to the environment (walls, floors, doors), too risky for the item’s condition, or hazardous to the safety of movers, customers or bystanders.


15. Furniture assembly & disassembly

Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable for any damages caused while assembling or disassembling furniture. It is at Zenith Moving LLC’s discretion to determine if an item requires additional handling fees due to size and complexity.

It is the customer’s responsibility to fully disclose the size and complexity of their items. Zenith Moving LLC has the right to charge additional fees or refuse to move an item if, on move day, large and complex items are present that were not disclosed at booking.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide furniture assembly manuals for any complex or large items.

If an item requires specific handling and care by the manufacturer, it is the customer’s responsibility to contact the manufacturer and have their technicians disassemble the item prior to Zenith Moving LLC picking it up.

Large wall units must be communicated at booking to ensure adequate resources; an additional handling fee will apply.

Armoires, china cabinets, pool tables, pianos, exercise machines and similar oversized items that cannot be moved in one piece require disassembly and reassembly, and thus incur additional handling fees.

Zenith Moving LLC will strictly not assemble furniture or any item that was not disassembled by Zenith Moving LLC at the pickup location. Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable for damages or claims regarding items disassembled and packed by the customer.

If a customer’s furniture requires special handling that was not disclosed during booking or at least 4 business days before the move, Zenith Moving LLC reserves the right not to disassemble the item. Customers must seek expert furniture disassembly services for complex/special items prior to move day so Zenith Moving LLC can move the disassembled item. We will not assemble such items at the drop-off location.

If an item cannot be moved without disassembly and special handling is required, Zenith Moving LLC reserves the right to refuse moving that item and will not be held liable for refunds for services related to that item. The customer is responsible for sourcing appropriate experts to disassemble/reassemble furniture safely.


16. Furniture & mattress disposal

Zenith Moving LLC performs furniture disposal service at the client’s request, to a disposal center, if requested at the time of booking, for an additional fee.

Zenith Moving LLC will charge additional fees for disposal to cover added mileage, labor, an additional stop, and disposal center charges.

Zenith Moving LLC provides plastic covers for mattress disposal if requested at booking and in accordance with the city’s curbside disposal pick-up days. Zenith Moving LLC is not responsible for fines or penalties resulting from illegal curbside disposal. The responsibility falls on the customer who owns the items and requested such services at booking. Zenith Moving LLC will not dispose of items curbside on move day if the customer did not previously request the service at booking.

Zenith Moving LLC does not provide disposal services for miscellaneous items generated during moving day or unpacking unless those items are packed in boxes, marked “For disposal” by the client, or were pre-reported for disposal prior to moving day. If the customer requires more disposal than originally agreed, additional disposal fees will apply.


17. Client referral program

Zenith Moving LLC offers a client referral program in which a referrer can earn a commission fee on their referral’s completed move. The following conditions must be met:

  • All referrals must be submitted through the Zenith Moving LLC referral web form. If you referred a friend via email or verbally, you are not entitled to a commission fee.
  • Referral fees are only paid on completed and fully paid moves.

If you qualify, the referral fee will be sent to your submitted mailing address within 30 days from the date the move has been completed and earned.

Method of referral fee payment is certified bank check sent by Zenith Moving LLC.

Zenith Moving LLC offers a 10% referral commission for local moves on the total paid invoice and a 5% referral commission for long distance moves on the total paid invoice for any out-of-state moves (outside New York and New Jersey).

Zenith Moving LLC reserves the right to change the commission fee at any time or cancel this referral program.

The referred customer does not earn a commission or discount by being referred. If the customer uses a promo code during their booking process, they may earn a discount on the move instead.

A referee who earns a commission fee cannot apply that commission as a credit toward future moves or services with Zenith Moving LLC, nor as a discount for any of their contacts.

If a referred customer has an open or pending claim with Zenith Moving LLC which could result in a loss of revenue or damages, Zenith Moving LLC reserves the right not to pay the referrer their commission fee. At its discretion, Zenith Moving LLC may pay a flat $50 referral commission in such cases, regardless of the originally expected percentage.

Zenith Moving LLC does not honor referrer web submissions, emails or calls for a referral commission that occur after the referral’s booking date (deposit and service agreement signed). All referrals must be made prior to the referral booking their move.

If a referrer introduces a customer who books storage move-in services, that is the only storage job type for which the referrer earns commission (if conditions are met). Zenith Moving LLC does not pay referral commissions on storage move-out services or monthly storage fees associated with that referral.

Zenith Moving LLC will not honor referral commissions for referrals who have previously moved with Zenith Moving LLC (repeat customers).

Zenith Moving LLC does not honor referral commissions for referrals who already contacted and received a quote from Zenith Moving LLC before the referrer submitted the referral.

Broker referral program
All participants of the Zenith Moving LLC Broker Referral Program participate of their own free will and under no contract with Zenith Moving LLC. Participants release Zenith Moving LLC from any damages and claims as participants in this program.

Zenith Moving LLC is not associated with, or a legal representation of, any broker, real estate firm or individual who participates. Each party is its own separate entity.

Zenith Moving LLC offers a broker referral program with commissions under similar conditions:

  • The referred client must move and complete paid services with Zenith Moving LLC.
  • If they do not move with Zenith Moving LLC, no referral fee is paid.
  • Broker referral fees are generally paid within 31 days from the date the move has been completed.

19. Customer privacy

Zenith Moving LLC is committed to protecting your privacy. This Statement of Privacy applies to Zenith Moving LLC services and governs data collection and usage at all Zenith Moving LLC websites, third-party lead platforms, emails, phone calls and the physical completion of services.

Collection of personal information
Zenith Moving LLC collects personal information via phone, email, web form or third-party lead provider, such as your email address, name, home or work address, telephone number, bank account information and credit/visa card details. Information collected by Zenith Moving LLC is used for billing and the provision of purchased or related services.

Personal information collected may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Zenith Moving LLC or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or agents maintain facilities. By using our site and services, you consent to such transfer of information outside your country.

We collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for purposes including (but not limited to):

  • General business operations and providing services
  • Answering questions about products and services
  • Business processing and related functions, including providing personal information to related bodies corporate, contractors or service providers
  • Updating records and keeping contact details up to date
  • Processing and responding to complaints
  • Complying with legal or regulatory requirements
  • Operating and improving our website and digital services
  • Any other purpose related or ancillary to the above

Security of your personal information
Zenith Moving LLC is committed to protecting your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies to help guard against unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We store the information you provide on computer systems in controlled facilities with strictly limited access. This includes your name, address and credit card information. Zenith Moving LLC uses trusted third-party technology vendors and data encryption. Credit card and billing information may be stored securely on merchant accounts such as bank merchant gateways and accounting platforms.


20. Liability waiver during a state of emergency, pandemic or natural disaster

In situations such as the COVID-19 pandemic, Zenith Moving LLC may be operating as an “Essential Business” under relevant state or local executive orders. We follow enhanced sanitization of trucks & equipment, and advise our workers to follow health and safety protocols such as masks, gloves, hand-washing and use of sanitizers, and to remain home if sick, in line with current regulations and guidance.

Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable for any damages if a customer or member of the community becomes sick during such a state of emergency or pandemic period while engaging our services. If you decide to move with Zenith Moving LLC during such periods, you do so at your own risk and acknowledgment of this term. Zenith Moving LLC will not be held liable for any damages, sickness or death.


21. Disclaimer of warranties: limitation of liability

We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable.

Zenith Moving LLC is not responsible for delays due to road traffic conditions or building time restrictions.

You agree that from time to time we may remove the service for indefinite periods of time or cancel the service at any time, without notice to you.

You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk. The service and all products and services delivered to you through the service are (except as expressly stated by us) provided “as is” and “as available” for your use, without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title and non-infringement.

In no case shall Zenith Moving LLC, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility.

Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
